Fastest growing advertising mediums
Jan 22nd
It has been brought to our attention that online digital advertising (this includes mobile phone, iPad, Internet websites) and digital signage are the fastest growing mediums compared to the traditional TV, Radio, Newspaper and Magazines – digital content is being displayed everywhere. Why? Because it’s easy to just distribute digital content.
Technology has dramatically changed our lives and if you’re in the marketing industry you would have also noticed the shift in the way a business realigns itself with technology. More businesses are now building an online presence and have realised that even though they have a website, they may not have the exposure on search engines to increase the visitor hits to their websites.
For advertise me, most of our clients and leads are from the website and we rely on search engines for our marketing strategy. May be we’ve been lucky… or maybe not. From the beginning, it was one of our main goals to be at the top of the search engines for quite a number of search terms such as digital signage, digital advertising etc.
So we’ve leveraged our online Internet presence to market another great advertising medium called “digital signage”. Digital Screens are appearing everywhere and I can’t stress how important it is to use this medium to advertise your products, sales or even to engage customers to walk into your store.
Yes, some people are skeptical about the ROI but there’s many case studies out there that proves otherwise. The question you should be thinking is “Why fall behind your competitors when everyone else is doing it?”.
At Advertise Me, we’re all about finding innovative ways to advertise YOUR business. One of the products we’ve built is a website called squeak.com.au – you basically list your sales online and people searching for sales will find it.

Cost of advertising on TV in Australia?
Sep 26th
Does anyone know how much it would approximately cost to advertise on TV (15 & 30 second ad) in Australia?
We would like to perform a comparison between DOOH (digital out of home) advertising and other mediums such as TV. If anyone has any information that may be able to help us please let us know.
Advertise Me will be using the iPhone4
Sep 17th
It’s official, our company will be using the iPhone4 instead of the traditional Blackberry devices. Why? Well, feedback from our staff indicated that the blackberry storm had too many issues:
1. Speed – it was slow to browse websites and do multitasking
2. Missed calls – there were too many occasions whereby we missed important phone calls because the client couldn’t contact us
3. Storage – applications that were installed used up memory
4. Applications – there isn’t too many free and useful applications available e.g mobile banking
So goodbye Blackberry Storm, you’ve served us well over the past two years.
Gmail priority inbox
Sep 9th
Early this week I noticed a new feature in my google gmail, and it’s called priority inbox. I wasn’t too sure what it was or what it did so I’ve ignored it until today. I decided to click on the link and I was presented with this video:
After watching this video I thought to myself that maybe its worth a try. Basically, gmail works out what emails are important and prioritises these at the top.
I’ve activated it and noticed that now my inbox is setup into three areas:
1. Important and unread
2. Starred
3. Less important
I like the idea that now I can easily view the starred emails but time will tell as to whether this feature will be beneficial.
What do you think about priority inbox?
